The Couple| ''Andy and I met on line. I’d been single for nearly three years, I was a single mum so going out to meet someone was really difficult. I honestly didn’t think I’d meet anyone on line but it happened. Andy messaged me asking how I was finding the app, I checked out his photos and thought ‘God yes! After a few weeks of messaging he asked for my number. I asked if we could carry on chatting through the app for a while longer, I needed to be sure. After a couple more days he told me one of his best friends lives in the same village as me. Little did I know his friend was someone I grew up with Years earlier! Of course I gave him my number after that! The week later he picked me up for our first date. I was so so nervous but we got on great and I knew I wanted to see him again. He had me laughing most of the night so I knew he was a bit of a joker and everyday since I’ve done nothing but laugh! He’s an amazing dad to his boys and fantastic with my children.
We’ve been together for three years and married for four months. It’s been the most perfect, funniest, loving time and I can’t wait for more!''.

The proposal story| ''I was with my mum one day and she received a call from Andy. It was near Christmas so I thought they might be taking about which gift to get me. My mum told me to go away, cheers!

Andy had asked what I would’ve liked for Christmas and I’d said a sunbed! I grew bored of fake tanning every other night so I’d asked for that haha! Anyway Christmas morning came and he told me my present was on the Christmas tree- ain’t no way is a sunbed on the Christmas tree! He reached over and pulled a beautiful bauble from the tree and got on his knee. I had a little feeling it’s what he would do but the whole thing was amazing. I cried and said yes! The ring is a stunning white gold diamond which looks like a snow flake. It’s perfect!''

The wedding planning| ''The planning was great. Because we have five children between us the budget was a low one. And wouldn’t change a thing! I made the centre pieces myself and the flower arrangement on the entrance table. I made my own wish tree for people to write their well wishes. I got great joy in finding something cheap to use, just to see how much we’d save at the end.
I wanted something rustic and very me. I don’t like being the same as other people so wanted something different. The colour scheme was navy blue and orange and the orange stood out perfectly. The guys had navy suits with orange ties and button holes, my bridesmaid and flower girl were also in navy and had orange in their flowers. My bouquet was completely orange as well as my shoes''.

The venues| ''We were married at our local registry office, the place was stunning with a lovely little courtyard outside for photographs. The weather was on our side that day as well so not a drop of rain in sight!
We then moved on to Castle Park Rugby Club which is home to Doncaster Knights Rugby team. I’d been to this venue many times before so I knew the room was fantastic. Really big and spacious. Lovely balcony as well for some more photo opportunities''.

Finding the dress| ''One of my closest friends owns Flutterby Bridal Boutique in Rossington. I knew instantly I wanted my dress from there. At the boutique theirs a stunning collection from Pheonix Gowns, Catherine Parry and Danielle Couture. I had my eye on at least seven! Being the model for the shop I was lucky enough to try on most of the gowns there. This particular day another delivery came and I was helping Sharon steam the new collection. I pulled out a dress and instantly fell in love. We ran upstairs so I could try it on and I knew. It was even better when I found out it had pockets! I felt really bad my mum not being there but when I shown her, her reaction told me I’d picked the right one''.

''I stayed at my mum’s the night before the wedding and surprisingly I had a good sleep! I went to  5o the salon in the morning to get my hair done and slowly got ready afterwards. We were getting married at 330pm and having two young boys to get ready aswel, rushing around is something I didn’t really want. My bridesmaid came and we all helped each other get ready. I was ready on time as well haha!''.

''Andy got ready at home the morning of the wedding. Him and his Three son’s chilled out until the time came for them to leave. Our best man was Gary, Andy’s best friend who he grew up with. He’s a wonderful friend and would help out in any way he could. Andy adores him and vice versa.
I was quite calm but when it came to do my make up my hands were shaking, I probably looked like coco the clown! I couldn’t eat anything either, my mouth was so dry I just drank water instead''.

''My bridesmaid was my longest ever friend. We’ve been best friends since we were very young, I wouldn’t of wanted anyone else for that role. She smashed it! She looked absolutely stunning in her dress, also purchased from Flutterby Bridal. It was navy satin and like mine, had pockets!!
My little flower girl was my god daughter, Erin. She looked beautiful and was so well behaved throughout the day. Not fazed at all by the crowd of people and flashes from cameras. She was a dream!''.

Most memorable part of the day| ''The whole day was amazing. Just knowing we were husband and wife was a dream come true. We both loved every part of the day''.

Did you have a honeymoon|''We would of loved a honeymoon but leaving my children for more than a night is enough for me, I would of felt too guilty being away from them longer than I should. As a wedding gift my mum had booked Andy and I a spa package so we were able to be pampered and chill out for the evening before returning the next day. It was lovely and relaxing''.

Any advice for future brides & Grooms| ''A wedding doesn’t have to cost a fortune. We had everything we wanted, everyone there who we wanted and altogether, dress, suits, venues, food, photographer etc, it cost (drum roll) £3400. I felt amazing doing a full wedding on such a small budget. People wouldn’t of known how much it cost unless I didn’t brag about it, was very proud and it was a perfect day!''.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful story.
